We are holding a Showing Clinic on 19th November 2023 at Ledston Equine Centre. The clinic will be run by Vikki Smith who is a STARS approved trainer and will be £20 per one hour session.

The idea is to give help and advice to prepare people for larger events such as STARS but it's not limited to our STARS competitors.  The sessions are open to all and there is an entry form on the Contact Us/Pre Enter page so we can organise the sessions and contact people with their time slots. Please complete the form whether or not you have already messaged and paid - your place is reserved when you have paid but we need the information to organise with Vikki. If you have any questions please pose them on there and you'll be contacted by email on the address you supply. We'll do our best to accommodate everyone but it will be first come first served if we run out of spaces and it will depend on demand as to the sessions that are available.

The last show this season was on 6th August and the final placings and Championships have now been decided so go and check how you've done on the button above The show was a lovely end to the season with the ground holding up well (some would say perfect!) following the heavy rainfall. Thanks to everyone who helped, competed, provided food, sweets and of course our fantastic judges and stewards who all work so hard. Our photographers have excelled themselves this year with fantastic pictures all ready to buy - see Rachel Jane Cox Photography for the showing rings and VM Photography for the show jumping classes.

The icing on the cake was the brilliant Fancy Dress and Concours D' Elegance classes where we were all taken aback at the gorgeous and imaginative costumes on display. Congratulations to all of you, the winners were almost impossible to choose.

The final points are now available on the button above, as ever please let us know ASAP if there are any mistakes in names, spellings, places etc. so it can be corrected before the Presentation Night. More details will be available soon for the Presentation Night but it is at Ferrybridge on 28 October and there will be a Halloween themed Fancy Dress competition.

We'll also be sorting out who has qualified for STARS and will contact by email to confirm whether you want to attend and represent us at Aintree.

Please ensure you've checked their rules around vaccinations and the details of the classes.

We're looking forward to the new showing season with an extended schedule and lots of qualifiers. Following the AGM and the feedback we have received we are only presenting trophies to the winners of our August show but retaining the Championship and Chase Me Charlie prize money. We're keen to be able to offer excellent value for money and are keeping the entry fees to £7 for non members and £5 for members with membership of the Club an unbeatable £10 per year with double and family memberships even better value.

The Presentation Night will be on the 28 October 2023 at the Community Centre in Ferrybridge again and more details will follow but get the date saved now. We're thinking a Halloween theme for extra scariness!

STARS - The Champions in the relevant classes that match to the STARS classes will be informed at the end of the year and asked if they want to attend. If they decline then the qualification can pass down the line - entry fees are then collected by us and we do the entries for STARS for you. The schedule is on their Facebook page along with all the rules so please go and check before you agree to go. It's a fantastic show over four days at Aintree and the Club needs to send as many members as possible in order to be able to affiliate next year.

If you're hoping to qualify for any of the Championships please check their rules on the links below.

The Club is pleased to confirm that VM Photography and Rachel Jane Cox Photography will be covering the shows, both their details are on the sponsors and links page so take a look at all their previous work.
