Castleford Riding Club has been established for almost 50 years. We hold shows and events every year and particularly aim to encourage the younger or novice rider. 


We have a variety of in hand and ridden classes including working hunter and also run a show jumping ring with the final, Chase Me Charlie class worth £50 in prize money. There are gorgeous rosettes to sixth place and on the day In Hand and Ridden Showing Championships have a first prize of £20 plus a beautiful sash for our Junior and Senior Champions.  The shows are open to all but if you join the club you benefit from discounted entry fees and also accumulate points towards the end of year presentation night. See the members page for a membership form.
